I first saw this butterfly on a trip to the nature reserve at Denbies Hillside in Surrey in 2015. I only found out that they could be seen in in the Chilterns in 2017 and I have been each year since to the Yoesden nature reserve specifically to look for this startlingly blue butterfly. I have also seen them at the wonderful Martin Down nature reserve in Hampshire.
