Pete's Walks - Wood White

A rare butterfly found in the south of England and the Burren in the west of Ireland. Its rounded wing-tips help distinguish it from the other White butterflies found in the British Isles. It is a daity butterfly, much smaller than other Whites, with a slow and delicate flight. I first saw them in 2018 when I visited Oaken Wood in Surrey (I just saw two in about two hours, but I'd left it rather late in the year), and have since seen them near Silverstone in Northants.
