On reaching the valley bottom, in what was now Fire Wood, the bridleway turned right (a path went straight on). I followed the bridleway as it ran along the valley bottom and through the wood for about a mile and a quarter. There were thousands of Bluebells on display, and still many Lesser Celandine which have been in flower for a couple of months now. Eventually the bridleway left Fire Wood, and soon curved right to reach Turville Park Farm. The bridleway continued straight on from the farm (where big preparations were in progress for a party of some sort). After running a short way between fences either side, it followed a hedge on the left for a while before switching to the other side of the hedge.

On reaching a crossing footpath, I turned left and headed quite steeply uphill. When I reached the trees at the top of the slope I stopped to admire the view on my right towards Stonor. I then continued, the footpath soon levelling out as it ran between a hedge on my left and a fence. After a few hundred yards I came to a path junction, where I forked half-left through an old metal kissing-gate. The path crossed a corner of a large pasture, than ran through a field with a few Jacob's Sheep in it. Through another kissing-gate the path ran across some grass and skirted the lawn of a house on my left, then going through a gate and following the house's drive to a road. I crossed over and continued down a lane opposite.
