Pete's Walks - Chicory

In recent years I've started to see chicory more often on my walks. It seems to be becoming more popular as a forage food for farm animals, so I see whole fields of it, or strips of it along part of a field. It also grows wild in waste places and beside roads. It flowers from June to September.
