Pete's Walks- Bluebells at Ashridge

I did this walk on Friday 1st May 2009. It was a 2.5 hour wander round the National Trust's Ashridge estate, generally following a route I've used very many times before but with one or two diversions. The main aim of the walk was to see the myriad of Bluebells, which I thought would be about at their best.

Apart from the Bluebells, there was still a lot of Wood Sorrell about. Surprisingly I didn't see any deer today, and the only bird of note was a Nuthatch.
