Pete's Walks - Whipsnade Heath and Studham Church

I did this 2-hour local walk on Monday 3rd August 2009. I had intended to go for a long walk, but hadn't managed to decide on a route and when I woke up in the morning I felt really tired, so instead just wandered off for a couple of hours through Whipsnade Heath, Whipsnade, Studham Church and Holywell. So regular readers (that's you, Aged Agnes in Cleethorpes!) will no doubt recognise all the photographs - though it does seem a while since I did a local walk from home. It started off as quite a sunny morning, but soon turned quite gloomy and by the time I got home I was glad I wasn't walking any further. I had hoped to find a Violet Helleborine that I saw last year, but despite a good hunt round I was unsuccessful.
