After a gate led into a third meadow, the path forked - the Chiltern Way bears left to climb uphill to Bledlow Ridge, but I went right, on what was a new path for me. Beyond this third meadow, the path continued along the bottom edge of Yoesden Wood (on my left), gradually curving from south to east with paddocks beyond the fence on my right. After a while the paddocks were replaced by fields, and the wood was replaced by a tall hedgerow. The fence on my right still remained, and the path here was somewhat overgrown - no nettles or brambles, just some shrubbery that slowed my progress a little. After a while, the path went quite steeply uphill between fences and hedges, to reach a path junction quite close to the village of Bledlow Ridge.

I turned right (I was back on known territory, this being part of Walk 14 of my Chiltern Chain Walk), and followed a bridleway back down hill to reach Bottom Lane. I went a few yards left, then turned right on another footpath. This followed a hedgerow to a small wood, beyond which the path started to climb uphill. I passed another small wood on my right, and at the top of the hill emerged on a road in another part of Radnage, quaintly named The City (the part I'd been in earlier was Town End).

Looking right, back the way I'd come. Yoesden Wood is on the right, Andridge Farm is at the top of the brown field on the left (obscured by twigs)

I turned left, then turned right by a former chapel. I followed this street to its end, then took a path on the left that led through paddocks and meadows to reach Bottom Wood. Here I turned left (leaving the route of the Chiltern Chain Walk and once more bravely exploring new territory! :)) and followed a lengthy bridleway through the wood. The wood is managed by the Chiltern Society , of which I am a member, and I have been wanting to visit it for some time.
