Pete's Walks - The Lake District

I used to go on holiday to the Lake District by myself, but in recent years I have been going with my friend Martin (from Ipswich), usually renting a flat in Keswick for a week. Here are a few photo journals of some of the walks that we have done on those holidays - sadly the weather hasn't always been conducive for good photography!

When I took these photos I had no idea of creating these web pages, I was merely recording a few holiday snaps. So I'm afraid  the photos are generally rather few and far between. The 'Alternative Fairfield Horseshoe' is the only walk where I took as many photos as I would have liked for a journal - probably because it was one of the few days where we had really good weather!

I apologise if these pages are very slow to load on a dial-up internet connection.
