There was a nice view along a valley on my right, as the path initially ran along the edge of Binfields Wod. The path then entered the wood, still going uphill for a while before levelling out. After a while, the path was running close to the western edge of the wood, with fields close by on my left. Eventually the path left the wood, turning left and crossing a field to a 'stile', then continuing close to a wire fence along the right edge of a large sheep pasture. In the field corner I went through a gate, the path going straight on for a few yards then turning right, running now for some distance between Chalkpit wood on my left and another wire fence to my right. The path then turned left and soon reached a lane.

Across the lane, the path ran through North Cot wood. After a while, it was running just inside an edge of the wood on my left and dropping downhill. On leaving the wood, the path ran between fences with fields either side, then turned left along a farm track. When this came to a track junction, I turned right and followed a track towards Hambleden. Shortly after a footpath went off to the right, I went through a gap in the hedge on the left and made my way across the corner of a sports field to return to the car park where I'd started..

This was another good walk - my first long walk for a few weeks (mainly because I've been otherwise engaged looking for butterflies and orchids). About half the route I'd only walked once before in the opposite direction, so there were plenty of views that I was seeing for the first time. There was the usual Chilterns mixture of woods and field paths, with several attractive villages and hamlets with many 'brick and flint' cottages, and several bits of uphill and downhill. It's certainly a route I'd like to do again sometime.
